Apple has recently launched the third-generation tablet, the new iPad that has been named as iPad 3 by techies. The stunning 9.7 inch device looks similar to the iPad 2, but what’s inside is definitely going to entice all gadget freaks.

Much Improved Display
The new iPad has Retina display and resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. The LED-backlit glossy widescreen display with IPS technology will further add-on to your viewing experience. Ipad also has fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating.
iPad 3 has Apple’s custom designed dual-core A5X high performance and low power consuming chip with quad-core graphics. Apple claims its SoC to be four times faster than NVIDIA Tegra 3 chip processor.
Apple has named the 5MP rear camera as the iSight. It comes with a back illuminated sensor and 5 elements lens, which enhances the image quality. Front camera of iPad is called Facetime camera. You can now capture full HD videos (1080p) at 30 fps with audio from the iPad 3.
Apple has introduced two variants of iPad, the only Wi-Fi version and another with Wi-Fi + 4G connectivity. Both the models support Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n.
Apple iPad3 comes with 42.5 watt-hour lithium polymer battery that offers up to 10 hours of web surfing, video playback, and music playback time. If you are surfing the Internet using cellular data network, the device offers up to 9 hours of usage time.
Apple iPad was up for sale on March 16,2012 and record breaking 3 million devices were sold on a single day. There has even been a price drop on iPad 2 and the device is now available for Rs.23,699 (only Wi-Fi) on saholic. The new iPad i.e. iPad 3 also has 3 variants – 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. There’s no update on the launch date of Apple new iPad in India.
